First seen at Toy Fair. Power Surge Bumblebee with Buzzstrike Power Surge Bumblebee with Buzzstrike and Power Surge Sideswipe with Windstrike set According to Entertainment Earth, the case is 2x Bumblebee, 1x Sideswipe, which is why BBTS isn't offering a single listing for Sideswipe. Update: MUCH larger photos courtesy of Swiss retailer Thali:
Ha! Their Mini-Cons plug into the chest, just like Aerobolt with Optimus. That makes me laugh. I wonder if they're compatible with each other?
Part of me hopes these things won't be in the finale, but another part of me knows Hasbro will shoehorn them in somehow ):
That's sort of awkward how the minicons are just strapped to their chests like that. Sideswipe's minicon almost looks like a baby in a baby carrier.
I think it's possible that these might have knee joints(and universal hip joints). I'm enticed because these are big figures and might have very sturdy plastic.
Sometimes when I carry other humans I just stick them to my chest in the same manner. I'm very adhesive. It helps if they are absorbent too.
Those Minicons are amazingly lazy. I mean... wow. That said, the figures overall look pretty great for the under-5 crowd. They look sturdy, but they still have the useful articulation (I see shoulders, elbows, and hips), simple transformation, and some decent play value. I'd pick them up for my nephews except they'd fight over who gets Bumblebee.
haha yup That's why I.have Takaras Preordred in case they turn out to be awesome in hand ans low production numbers like the 2nd chrome remolded Leader Prime from Takara Adventure line. Not sure they have knees but they do seem to have some range at the shoulders elbows & hips/legs. They also both have bicep swivels with Bees integrated into his elbow and Swipes above it. I'm hoping the price increase is because of good construction and more articulation not just because they have a minicon attached
There's still hope, it looks like the upper legs and lower legs are molded in different colors instead of just being painted differently. Just need a pic from the back to confirm.
