    If it's a comic version, why does it have base functionality at all? He never turned into a base in the Marvel G1 comics. Don't know if he did in IDW or anywhere else outside of toys and cartoons.

    Totally getting it though. People who want a larger Scorponok have the Maketoys one to choose from? Best of both worlds.

    Awesome. I don't particularly care for Furman's work, but I like a lot of his concepts, such as a (relatively) regular sized scientist Scorponok (who's not as dumb as BW's regular sized scientist Scorponok).

    Yep! this right here. I love this company, it's probably my favorite, but damn, I wish they kept with their release schedule.

    Scorpy looks awesome. Hopefully we will have him by the end of the year.

    I wish he was a little bit smaller, because I like IDW's Scorponok. Now they need to whip up a tiny headmaster Sunstreaker, Hot Rod and some Dinosaur alt mode Dinobots to fight this guy.

    Absolutely. This little guy looks amazing. About the only things I'd like a little better would be a tiny visor and a more G1-accurate weapon (which IMO is an iconic design/part of the whole "Scorponok package").
