Sorry about the quality.

Someone asked if MMC are planning on doing the Scavengers after the DJD. Apparently, despite the huge interest, Cynicus hasn't sold as well (possibly because of the factory switch and initial price hike) so it's not out of the question, but not on the cards. I hope at the very least they complete the DJD set :/

 

Doesn't look like anything new got announced. That's a shame.

 

Most of that is from TFCon. I saw a few new things, (SG Carry?) unless it's just stuff I missed from the TFCon coverage. Thanks!

 

Yeah, I didn't think there was much new, but I only follow a couple of lines closely so figured I'd share and others can pick out what's interesting or not.

 

Some of the Nonnef pictures are new. Those are his upgrade kits for Combiner Wars figures to make them into new characters.

 

I'm a tad confused on the why they believe Cynicus hasn't sold well. Maybe not initially but right now he's sold out everywhere I've looked and it seems a lot of people are already in for the November pre-order.

 

I see nonnef has an Ironhide/Ratchet chest for the Combiner Wars mold.

I would get the kit that turns Carzap into Minerva for my Masterforce display. Might also get the First Aid into Ratchet kit.

 

Yea, I don't get this either. Every retailer completely sold out of Cynicus when he first released, I remember because I was late in getting one, found out he was sold out everywhere and got a BBTS order someone dropped.

Seems like he sold well enough for them to make more, also.

 

Maybe he was made in more limited quantities than what we thought?

Or maybe the logistics for cost were so off that up until it was sold at the 84.99 or so price, they lost money due to the factory move?

I find it funny that even after everything is supposedly fixed and all that, second run Cynicus still costs exactly as much as the much bigger Anarchus.

 

Maybe you have to factor in worldwide sales & not just in north America. I'm from Asia & he's easily available at my local toyshops.

This has reminded me of how much I want an IDW-accurate Nightbeat. Even at $10.50 on Amazon I still haven't gotten generations Nightbeat since he doesn't even come close to resembling the character. There aren't any 3P Nightbeats are there?

 

Nonnef is killing it! Sunstreaker and Ironhide's new chests are must-buys.

What's this about new ratchets for Hot Spot and Onslaught though? If anything, I really wish he could figure out a way to keep Hot Spot's arms locked in combined mode so that the elbows don't dislocate when moving the combined mode's arms.

 

I might be game for the Nightbeat chest.

Any details on new Aerialbot parts? I think he said those are in the cards.

 

On board for the Minerva and Nightbeat kits. Gives me an excuse to buy Carzap

 

Shit I guess I better hunt down a Carzap now. Or maybe I should wait and see if FP is still going to do a Minerva.

 

Have a piece already designed that holds HotSpots arms together. Uses the two 5mm pegs on the inner part of his chest.

Have a whole new slew of things under wraps right now. Two pages of unshown things I want out before TFCon. Getting caught up with the current pieces under pre-order then we'll be showing off things rapid fire.
Have a new shop with new equipment and a faster production cycle so we can start cranking things out in a matter of weeks instead of months.

 

So the Non-nef feet look to be the same width as Hasbro but longer front to back? Folks, for car legs wider is better. Skip!
