    Probably one of the few who is disappointed by this...I'd way prefer Nautica. I'm not surprised they had WB tho, she is the "fan-built" one.

    Well, Nautica has no toy and was created for the comics. Windblade has the whole toy impetus, PLUS her originating writer is working on the show (so that probably helped)

    I understand that, just still disappointed they went that route. I just wished they went with a more interesting character.

    Well it was going to happen sooner or later, Windblade is picking up in popularity and being the "Fan-Built Transformer" she was going to slip into an animated series one of these days, why not RID?

    Plus it's just really cool to see her outside of the comics and I must say the voice they picked for her is pretty fitting. Now...bring on the full episode! I must see mooore.

    Windblade to Appear in RID 2015

    Female 'Transformers' come to the fore

    Not sure if its posted here yet, but it looks like Windblade will be on RID 2015. Surprisingly she looks exactly like the Toy/ IDW comic design.

    It might help with transitioning kids and adults from RiD to the IDW comics too. None of the cast are overly prominent in the comics, with Optimus dead in the show and Bumblebee in the comics. Now you get Windblade, you can get people theoretically going from RiD-RiD comic/-Windblade comic-not-RiD/MTMTE more easily than jumping into a completely unfamiliar continuity.
