Slingshot is obviously a Firefly repaint, and Wildrider/Break-neck looks to be a Dead End repaint

I'm happy with Alpha Bravo, so I don't know if I'll get Slingshot, but I'll happily buy a Wildrider

No, they are releasing them as exclusives so they can release them at all.

Despite all rumors to the contrary, Hasbro is not in the business to spite you.

I guess the purists really care that the teams stay faithful, but I actually don't mind the new characters that much. Anyway, it'd be interesting if Hasbro did more releases outside the team; add-on limbs or members to change things up.

For example, some Beast-formers would be kind of cool to throw onto Superion or Menasor!  

 

I don't care for Wildrider at all. Slingshot on the other hand will mean I need to kill Skydive off.

I don't get it, Nevermore. So Hasbro PLANNED to release these all along... OR did they react to some of the fans disappointment?

Cause if they're not in the business to spite us... well, why not release these with the other wave mates? Seems like a sneaky plan to over-charge, if they are exclusives.   I feel a little spited.  

 

That defiantly looks like the Dead End mold. I cannot wait to get these two, now to figure out who to combine Alpha Bravo and Offroad with.

 

I'm all for fan favorite bots, but if you can't let things go how are you ever going to move forward. I say good on Hasbro for throwing in some new guys with AB and Off-Road. They are going to be someones new favorite!
