10 most historically inaccurate movies

    I don't see how they can say for sure that "10,000 B.C." is historically inaccurate, since we don't exactly know a lot about the facts from that period...but I would agree that woolly mammoths were probably not used to build the pyramids.

    Actually, Neil Gaiman has been lamenting in his blog that teachers have literally been substituting his movie for the story of Beowulf, a script which he freely admits takes liberties.

    I think the only film I've ever seen that might be relatively accurate is the original Titanic movie 'A Night to Remember'. Both the book and the movie had the survivors as their sources, and the intention to portray the accident as accurately as possible. It also won Best Picture, and IMO is far, FAR superior to Cameron's film.
