Anybody heard about it? It's a 165 minute earthquake movie. It's one of those disaster movies. The movie is very poignant. There was a sequel called 10.5 Apocalypse. I've only seen 10.5.

 

I saw it around Christamstime last year. I thought it was pretty good. And yes, it's got Beau Bridges as president.

 

Is that the one where California gets separated from the US by the fakest-looking fissure that shoots across hundreds of kilometres a second in the satellite view, but the people on the ground outrun on foot?

That was a bad movie. Well, maybe I'm being too harsh, that bit really coloured my memories. It was an okay TV movie.

Not everybody outran it on foot. Most people were swallowed by the fissure. Some were just lucky.
