I agree with the broad point, but since this is the live 1980's we need to remember that the chart toppers we sing today weren't the only things on the airwaves.

Honestly, think a good way to get some soundtrack ideas would be to look at some records of the radio play of the era (assuming such records are kept) and go from there.


That said, would it kill them to have a chase scene set to "Don't Stop Me Now"?
