What is the difference between them? I always thought they were one in the same but I have been told they are two seperate items. All help is appreciated.

The difference is that the Super Pack has 2 missile pods and the Strike Pack replaces 1 missile pod with a twin-beam lang-range laser.

In the case of Yamato's 1/48 line, both options are included in the box.

Yup, with Yamato 1/48 sets they come with the parts to build strike armor or the fast packs. They run about $60.

I replied to your PM, but I thought everyone else might like to know.

Basically, the deep blue pix you see aren't accurate, the actual super/strike parts that you buy seperately for about $60 a set are more of a bluish green. The super parts that come with the VF-1J Hikaru/Max/Miya or whatever her name is are more on the green side.

Woop, I actually have some pix laying around in my photobucket. Here's the super/strike parts that are sold seperately.

Now, the difference isn't really that great. One's a little more green and one's a little more blue. Personally, I like them both. :D
