    Thanks!

Thanks, PK! Most kind. I actually had to cut the chest into a few parts because the shovel was really wide. But it lead to me adding ball joints to the cheat pieces, which is pretty cool.

I will get painting him as soon as building is complete. Going with good old G1 green. I will be adding rust, oil and dirt, for sure.

    Thanks a lot!

Hope to have construction finished soon.

    Thanks encline. :)

    Here's an update:

Added a lot more detail to the legs including all the treads and some of the hydraulics. Still lots to do. I've started work on the head (not shown here) and still have a few of the remaining hydraulics to attach.

Thanks for taking a look! :)

    Very kind. :)

    Thanks, PK!

The treads were a tough part to finish. I wanted them to resemble the G1 design but give it believable articulation found in the movie designs. Also, the tread pieces are made of a more rubbery plastic. Some glues really don't work on them. The glue can become brittle and the treads were falling off. Not good. So I used plastic weld to secure the treads. Now they're very sturdy.

I've been working on the head. Having fun with it. I want to maintain some of the G1-ness, but the G1 toy and toon head are pretty plain. Most of the Constructicons have the same basic block shaped head. Bringing it somewhere between G1 toy/toon and the movie style has been a challenge, but I'm getting there. I'll post a WIP pic of the head soon.

I can't wait to paint this guy.

    Small Update:

I've been working on Bonecrusher's head. Still some detailing to do, but you can get the general idea of the basic design.

I'm getting close to paint time. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for taking a look. :)
