I've been working on this guy for a while now. These pics represent the very early stages of the build. The skeleton is made from modified Bionicle, Gundam and Neo Shifter parts.

OK. So far I have cut, sanded and test fit most of the major parts of the Jeep kit. so the main Jeep body and interior parts have been cut up into over 80 separate parts with a few more cuts to come.

I have also started assembling and got a lot of the head completed. Those pics are coming soon. I did use the same Xevos one eyed dome (based on Plowking's original custom) for the starting point for the face with some added detailing and light up eye feature. Should be pretty cool.

This guy is looking to measure up to about 8 inches tall. A little shorter than the Swindle Drone (9 inches) and Soundwave (11 inches) I previously worked on, but he'd have to be based on the smaller size and limited number of actual parts on a real Jeep compared to those other more conventional vehicles. I'm going for a more stocky, wolverine type. So far, so good.

I'm really enjoying this build. I have to say, minus the head design and plow weapons, the final design will basically be my first interpretation of what I'd like movie Hound to look like. I'm digging this so much that I plan on using the basic design to build a WWII Jeep version of "movie" Hound.

More pics coming soon. Thanks for taking a look and for any comments you might like to share.

Might as well get this one out of the way early. LOL.

    No.

It's basically an articulated bot mode design. Similar to a movie concept maquette.

I love works in progress, especially when we can see what goes into really producing a figure. Looking forward to progress updates!
