Here's are a few work in progress pics of a 1/24 scale movie style Hound I've been working on. Similar to the custom I built for Plowking, Hound is based on a Hasegawa WWII Willys Jeep model kit. I used a customized bionicle and neo shifter skeleton.

I still have some detailing to do before painting.

Thanks for taking a look and for any comments you might have.

    UPDATE 08-23-10:

Finally got a chance to finish Hound.

More pics start at post #24

    Thanks!

Having fun with Hound. Also working on a G1/movie style Bumblebee at the moment.

Cool stuff... but his face looks kinda mean....I always imagine Hound's face to be a bit more friendly...

    FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!....bout time Tim!!....:p

I was wondering what was the progress on this guy. Looking really good too man....don't know if its intentional or not, but right now, I'm getting a nice HALO vibe from the head.....pretty slick looking IMO.

And a G1/Movie styled BB?.....Looking forward to seeing your take on that one.

Good to see you still at it man....I missed seeing your custom TF's around here.

I like it. I don't think any of us expect it to transform, but it's hella cooler than any 'Robot Replica' figures out there.

Haven't painted him yet. Too cold. But I will soon.

In the meantime, I've made a lot of progress on my G1/movie style Bumblebee & Cliffjumper maquettes. Figured I'd give both a try since they're so similar. I'll post pics soon.

Also getting ready to start Windcharger.

    Thanks, WJ. Most kind.

I'm using a 1983 IMSA Camaro for Windcharger. It's from the right time period and has the visual cues I was hoping to match with the original toy. Even has the wheel well flares like G1 WC.
