I finally got a few moments to finish up the head for my 1:24 scale Movie Style Soundwave. I know it's been ages since I started this project. I'm glad I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyway, I thought you guys might like to have a look at a few WIP pics before I do the final cleanup and the painting.

If some you forgot, this and this are a few shots of the body.

I will add a few more angles of the unpainted head soon and then post my gallery pics of the finished bash.

As always, thanks for having a look and for sharing your thoughts.

    EDIT:
Pics of a few more angles of this stage added.

    He does not transform.

The original design for this Soundwave was a Balkan MK6. But there's no model kit available, so I used a 1:24 scale military hummer. I will probably post a digibash of the alt mode when I post final gallery pics.

1:24 is the scale of the standard car model kit. Also the size of TF Alternators. This model stands at well over 10 inches tall, making it around 20 feet tall if in real life.

It's taller than most Alternators because I was trying to follow the look of the movie robots, which are a bit thinner and taller than the Alternator designs.

that's lookin very sweet! I can't wait to see it on the body. You have done an excellent job of taking the classic look of soundwave and model a movie inspired design from it.
