    Hi everyone,

Today I want to showcase one of my latest 1:18th scale transformer projects, Prowl. In keeping with reusing current molds, I desided to use my Bumblebee Concept Camaro molds and cast a repaint black and white version of the DUB City Concept Camaro Highway Patrol car. He is still in WIP stage. I still need to add leg back windows, tires and some other parts, but for the most part, he is mostly built. Unlike Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, I sculpted a new head and added shoulder rockets simular to the classic G1 Prowl. The head was a white cast of the originial head from the '07 model BB sculpt. I used Fixit Sculpt to change the facial features and pieces of styreen for the head wings things. The sculpt is based on the IDW "Defiance" comics. The shoulder rocket launchers are from the new GI Joe ROC toy line (finally, a use for those things). Also a second type of GI Joe launcher toy will be modded to be a gun for Prowl.

The alt mode is based on the Dub City Concept Camaro. I built the push bumper guard out of styreen tubes and sheets. The decals designs are based on the California Highway Patrol car and I was thinking of photo shoping in the Autobot symbol inside the circle part of the shield, simular how they did with Ratchet. I am going to print them out on water transfer sheets later on. I still have to figure out how to approach the lights since the car is more 1:20ish scale than a true 1:18th scale. Those lights might be too big for Prowl. Another thing, I was toying arround the idea of fusing the roof together and make it a shield than his arm guards, what do you all think?

Like I said, he is just a work in progress so far. I have more sanding to do and painting, but for now, enjoy the sneak peak.

    Hey Everyone,

I have a huge update for you today with Prowl. I made some major advancements towards finishing him up. I finish putting on all the parts and found some better looking missle pieces for the shoulder canons. I modified the hand gun to remove alot of the ROC detail that did not need to be there. Painted him up and applied the water transfer decals I made in photoshop. The decore is based on the DUB City Concept Camaro police car which is using the California Highway Patrol (and my home state). The only thing really left to do is find a good police light bar that would fit this scale and paint the shoulder canons. Enjoy the pics and look forward to hear from you all. Thanks for viewing.
