I went to Universal today to follow up on pics I got from the employee preview night showing me an All Spark replica. It's 1:1 scale (after Bumblebee collapses it) and cost $225 in the NEST Supply Vault souvenir shop.

    It measures 6.5" across.

Compared to the 1/4 replica by Popbox Collectibles

Bottom line: I am a little disappoint. The cube looks fine on its own, but when compared to the much more screen accurate 1/4 version, it falls flat. It has nowhere near the detailing it should and for $225 it's not really worth it. But I'll probably end up keeping it for my car shows. The average observer couldn't tell the difference.

    It's not $225 worth IMO I'd get a refund.

I'm not really sure what you're getting at. If the details were more like the 1/4 scale one, there wouldn't be a problem.

Is this really how people choose to spend their money now? On giant blocks?

If I ever go out there (It's all the way across the country from me though, so I doubt it will be anytime in the near future... :( ) and they're still selling it I'll probably get it. There are very few pieces of merchandise I'm actually interested in, Deluxe Evac if he's going to be there and this are probably the only ones I'd get. I'm way more interested in Wizarding World of harry Potter down in Florida (which I'm going to this year!!! So excited!!! Around my birthday too, so I'll have lots of extra money!!! :D ) than with the TransFormers Ride. Then again, Wizarding World is an entire park, and The Ride is just a ride... Still though, The Ride should have more interesting exclusives. Not figures that just annoy me that I have to go there to get them, but stuff like the cube; it's there, and that's the only place you'd probably ever find it, unlike Evac who could have gotten a mass release and made profit. If the All Spark ever hit retail I doubt people would buy it...
    Sorry for my rambling!

Where can you (assuming you still can) buy the Popbox Cube?

Throw it at something mechanical and see if the object transforms. Maybe that's where the price goes to! :lol
Also, what else did they have in the store that isn't a retail release? I've only heard of the cube and Ultimate Optimus Prime repaint.

There was a lot of merchandise like t-shirts, pins, belt buckles, wallets, stickers, patches, etc. The only toys they had were Prime Wave 1 and the last Generations assortment. There were a few of the Optimus voice changing helmets too. No sign of deluxe Evac anywhere.

As opposed to what, children's toys? Mind your own business then.

It does have its charms, and it's impressive on its own merits, but I really, really wish the detailing was the same.

I bought mine from BBTS a couple years ago and haven't seen it since. Good luck!

Okay, thanks! I don't know when I'll be able to go, but I wanted to know what's available. T-shirts, pins, and patches catches my attention, and I'm hoping that by the time I (hopefully) go Deluxe Evac will be there and the cube will still be available.

Make sure you check the stand. The manager pulled one out and immediately dropped it. The stand broke into 2 pieces. I had him get me a new one.

I dunno. I think the big one looks more accurate. I don't recall the real one in the movie having all that brown on it.

Weird smudging aside, which can probably be taken off with rubbing alcohol, here is a closer comparison.

    Ebay:
    Smaller one > larger one

The details seem crisper and more defined on the smaller guy. The large one isn't super horrible, but definitely not worth $225 IMO.

Children's toys usually do something and usually don't cost $225.

$225 for a giant cube? Ew.
