What they mean to say is, the truck that will be Prime, (the same one in last year's movie) is already on location to be filmed. Nothing short of a freak meteor strike will change that.
Yeah... no. The Peterbuilt that is currently Prime is the best. It's not sleek, it's big, its powerful looking, and it's got a certain bravo that says 'I'm Important.'

I don't think we'll see an upgrade for OP untill the third movie after he's been damn near destroyed by the cons. Then Ratchet can rebuild him, make him stronger, faster, etc....
i must agree, keep optimus the same. just update his robot mode or something, and make a new toy, and i'd be happy lol
Nope. That red Pete is a nice truck, but I love Prime as he is. BTW: What do you think about his flames !? I heard some people aren't happy with his flames. I can't understand - Those flames are beautiful, aren't they? That's the way it has to be:
I love Prime how he is. And I love that he is an older Pete (a 94-96 I believe) and how custom he is. Though the one thing that always always bothered me was that the truck Prime scanned had blue lights already, when no trucker in his right mind would have blue lights on the front (wouldn't be road legal)
they spent so much on cgi models they will definitely reuse as many as possible. Which is cool because it will allow them to spend that money on newer robots, so there will be more in the sequel. Although I bet the sequel gets a much bigger budget.
