You don't remember all the Alpha Trion samples sold on Ebay last time before Botcon?  

 

I remember last year seeing Blurr, Sideswipe and Rodimus way before the convention.

 

Hasn't FP, unlike Hasbro, been proactive in having these listings removed in the past? Or is that only with domestic sellers?

The thing is, the aftermarket price on these guys is gonna be higher than 99 bucks, ESPECIALLY if one of them (like, oh, say, Leozack) ends up the freebie.

 

That's exactly what I was thinking and debating all day yesterday. I was so tempted to pull the trigger on either one of those, but I see that I was too slow now! Oh well, I'm sure they'll be more to show up...

I had a question about all this: doesn't the illegal Chinese market somehow make Hasbro go through a bunch of financial gyrations to end up being that I pay more at Meijer, Target, and Wal-Mart to defray the costs of the theft?
