Yeah but Wonder Woman was actually a, you know, coherent and good movie, so...

Seems a good bit of people who skipped it at the theater picking it up to see how it is. I believe a good bit of why TLK didn't make as much this go round was because of the over crowded movie schedule this year. Hell we still have Justice League and Ragnorok to get through.

That's pretty interesting. I would have figured it to go the other way around, seeing as it made more money at the box office.

It looks like the general public is still interested Transformers, but not enough to warrant a theater visit, which is understandable considering how bad the trailers were and well, of course—the reviews.

This is a good sign for the Bumblebee movie as long as it presents an interesting trailer and premise.

In a time where we’re getting worse movies and sequels that are just awful, I can’t wait until the “movie intellectuals” come out of the woodwork and insult the people who bought this movie on Blu-Ray/DVD.

I thought the DVD might sell well in the first week, a lot of people didn't see it at the cinema this time, so they don't know what a mess it is! ;)

Well it's WWs second week, looking at the actual sales numbers might give you a different picture.

Still haven't picked it up myself. I think I'm waiting for the movies to finally end so I can just pick up the inevitable "Ultimate Collection," which I believe there have now been three of?

I refused to watch 47 Meters Down because the trailer I saw for it appeared to portray sharks as vicious, bloodthirsty monsters the same way Jaws did, and the same way the general public percieves them. Can anyone tell me if the actual movie did so - or at least was a genuinely worthwhile movie regardless of its portrayal of sharks, like with Jaws? I probably wouldn't enjoy seeing an innocent-but-antagonized species being brutalized, but if it's a good movie, I might try it.

Just take some salt with this. I gave it a quick read and it's hard to see what the actual number is. I see a lot of % numbers but nothing like it X amount of units sold. WW still sold 87% as much and has been out for far longer it would not shock me if next month TLK dropped down behind WW.

Sorry movie fans I don't think this film will recoup that lost income on blu-ray/dvd.

Also on a side note given the lack of info on actual units sold I suspect it's a case of statistics being used to show the movie in the best possible light. I'd love to see this next to the numbers for the other films first week.

Interesting. Ironically I ended up buying a copy of wonder woman earlier this month as my local walmart was out of TF : TLK on dvd, all they had was a pack with bluray, 4k and digital.
