Something I really don't like about the new Radicons section

Is there any way I can access the full list of customs (Radicons Customs - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards) straight from the TFW2005 home page?

I used to be able to hover over the Radicons button and use the drop down. Now, the fastest way seems to be to have to go thrugh the new Radicons home page (sorry, don't really fancy it) and then use the side panel (nothing in the main home body).

Can i request the webmasters to reinstate the one-click navigation? I visit the Radicons full listing section almost daily, but I don't really have any interest in the other features found on the new home page.

I concur, as I've not even browsed Radicons in a couple days. I used to check them out multiple times daily. At any rate, this may be better-served via PMs.

I'm curious as to what Fanart is doing in there; I'm a 3D modeller, not a Radicon...?

I'm sure any of the Radicons mods can go more in depth into it, but basically the Radicons title now encompasses all Transformer-related artistic ventures, whether it be 2D drawings, 3D renders, figure customization, or full on scratch-builds and sculptures.

Makes sense as a natural progression of the Radicons sub-site, and helps keep things in order with TFW.

I make stuff!: Arcee, Combaticons, Stunticons, Constructicons/Devastator
I draw stuff! I sell stuff! And I have Feedback!

The idea as I understand it was to develop Radicons as the artistic creative hub of TFW.

I actually preferred it the way it was before the initial seperation, once it was moved I just found it harder to look through for some reason, I just never got used to it.

I'm sure if I took the time I would like it more, but *shrug*

Why not just bookmark the full listing page?

Radicons Customs - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards

Really, it's 2 clicks.

And for those that have no yet read the welcome news post or the discussion thread o nthe subject...Radicons is now set to be our hub for all things visually creative. Art, digital composites, 3d modeling, repaints, scratch builds, etc. These things really go hand-in-hand. Plus it gives artists access to the commission area now, where they can review requests and offer their services a whole lot easier.

Because the way I surf this site is that I hit the home page first, check through the latest news, then I hit the Radicon section directly to check out new customs and ideas floating around.

I'm a web developer, and 2 clicks to get to a well used page is bad info architecture. Having the user needing to use a BOOKMARK to get to the page is even worse.

Well, you had to do the exact same amount of clicks before. One click on the button and a second on the dropdown. Now the first click simply takes you to the Radicons itself. That's really the point of the whole thing, to get people to visit the Radicons section where the meat of that section really is. If it's not your thing, then there's nothing I can do there. Plus you could always simply click on the "Radicons Customs" forum from the main forums page. It takes you to the same area.

And in this day and age, everyone and their mother is a web developer. Claiming that really holds no weight with me. Sorry.
