Am I missing something, or is there no link for the general Hunt for the Decepticons line in the resources section in the side bar or pull down menu?

    Thanks.

Hunt for the Decepticons is part of Revenge of the Fallen.

All the Hunt for the Decepticons releases are currently listed under Revenge of the Fallen.

I've personally been trying to think of better ways of organising it though - perhaps as a second listing, RotF Main Line and then 2010 Main Line or something?

We're always open to suggestions on the best way to organise. If you'd like to suggest something, please go right ahead and suggest it to us.

Thanks to you both. I have to admit that it wasnt the first place that I looked for it... and I like to think that I am reasonably experienced.

I would guess that the only two alternatives are to have

    - Revenge of the Fallen
    -- Core Movie Line
    --- RofF Main Line
    ...
    -- Hunt for the Decepticons
    --- Scouts
    ...

Or, to have the two lines as totally seperate. Sure, the HftD line are movie repaints, but there are exceptions (Terradive, Tomahawk, etc) and the first movie has a load of repaints.

The first place that I looked was for a seperate category entirely in itself. If I am normal (probably unlikely!) then that is where most people will look and so thats where it should be.

Thanks for all of the work on the database. It is the first place that I look for information about figures and repaints and has been invaluable to me.

Just throwing my two cents in here. Maybe we can just call it the yellow label line. Having a generations jazz in the ROTF line is just way to weird. Hasbro sure has made it confusing for sure.

Agreed. Especially if the two lines are to be combined later on - then it will get very confusing!

If it was me, I would check to see how some of the online stores organise their categories and follow that lead.

Or do like TFWiki and call 'em "Transformers 2010", they really shouldn't count as part of the ROTF line. If it's part of that line, then both the yellow boxes and ROTF should be a part of the original Transformers Movie line, too.

I've been leaning toward either 2010 Transformers or Transformers (2010) to differentiate from the existing Japanese series, Transformers 2010.

(Of all the years they could have picked to go back to using just the generic name...)

2010 Transformers sounds like a better idea. I'm all for giving the HFTD toys its own little subsection within the ROTF section. But with Reveal the Shield coming out in 2011, that line should be its own.

I think you should treat Hunt For The Decepticons and Reveal The Shield as you have done for Generations, by having them both at the top level of the hierarchy.

The other alternative I can think of is to have a top level category of 2010-2011 Transformers "Yellow Box" Line then have HFTD and RTS as child categories of that.

Transformers 2010 would make it a lot easier to find stuff.

this, yellow box line or something, there are way too many rotf releases to sift through to get to the reveal the shield/hftd

What about either "Transformers 2010 (Yellow Box)" or "2010 Transformers (Yellow Box)"?

Only problem with calling it yellow box are the items released under the generic Transformers packaging that are not in the yellow boxes. E.g. Mini-cons, Activators.

Though skimming what you are all saying, it sounds like there's a general consensus that it should at least be named 2010 Transformers.
