Hrm? I remember seeing it at Xmas time - no membership, so I decided to pass on it. (Was actually looking for Xbox 360s at the time, actually).
I saw literally hundreds of them during X-mas season. 2 weeks later, they were all gone. That's the Costco way -- they have huge one-time promos, and the merchandise is gone forever afterwards.
I was going to get one, but I passed when I found it was cheaper to buy a RiD Prime and Magnus than to buy the set. $40 shipped for both... SCORE! **sorry, that really has nothing to do with your question. I just like to twist the knife. Hook, you actually saw them in Canada?! WTF man, I hit Costco here in Calgary and they had never even heard of them. >_<
I bought the set back in the day, then returned it (still sealed). That was at the end of my "buying" days.
They were in the N.E. costco way back when they were released... someone pointed that out in the sightings thread, I saw em there too, but passed.
I wanted the Prime bad, but wasnt a member...So looks like I will ebay it sometime, or snag it at a convention or something.
Yep, must've been a couple hundred of em... I impulse bought him, got home, looked at my RiD Prime and Magnus, then my Car Robots Fire COnvoy and God Magnus and thought "why the hell did I buy this?" And sold it to a fellow collector an hour later
I got mine at the Costco in Toronto, which was very good because I didn't have the original molds and was very interesed in getting them. They had them before Christmas, one skid full but I didn't see them after that.
