    Super-important disclaimer:
Because someone ALWAYS finds a new way of being ignorant... This thread was originally started in April 2006. The responses on the first page are from 2006 and are in response to the earliest version of this list. I have continuously updated the list since then (the latest edit is currently from November 20, 2008). The only important entries are in the FIRST POST. The relevance of responses increases with their date.

A note on release dates for upcoming toys:
    - Takara dates are genuine street dates, although some stores tend to release toys a few days early.
    - Hasbro dates are usually rough estimates. They can differ between the info cards from toy shows such as BotCon or San Diego Comic-Con, official news at Hasbro's public Transformers website and preorder listings at online retailers such as Big Bad Toy Store or Entertainment Earth. More often than not, Hasbro's toys are available earlier than those release dates (although there are a few cases where toys are available later). "Street dates" for Hasbro toys are an exception, usually limited to store exclusives, and often broken by the stores regardless.

Note: Toys released in previous months (starting with July 2008) can now be found in this thread.

I'm still waiting on wave 2 here. All I've seen is a coupel of Rattraps in a Waterloo Target.

Cybertron Voyagers are way behind schedule too, thanks to all those shelf-warming Mudflaps and Evacs.

While the "official" release date for Primus is June, most US brick and mortar retailers won't have him until August when they do their fall/pre Christmas reset.
Metroplex will depend on what kind of stock the stores might have (I know of several Walmarts who have a LOT of Primes and Galvatrons) which means he might not make it until August or later as well.

And according to EE, the 6" Titanium line isn't due until July (though, most will likely see it later as per most release dates)

Those dates are tentative. Depending on the store you ask, they might differ by a month or two.

And regardless of whether your local store has a certain toy in stock yet or not, I'm listing all toys as "out" that have been confirmed spotted at US retail. If I were to keep a list for each individual store, that wouldn't serve anyone.

no shit....it wouldn't?!??! Wow you turned on a light bulb for me! I'm so stupid I never would have imagined that.......Gesh so much for conversation and adding to it. I think I have every right to express if I have been having no luck finding Soundwave. Oh, and it is more the ONE local store I go to. I have about 6 tagrets and 6 walmarts and 3 TRUs around me.

You want to talk bad distribution? Cybertron will START in Germany NEXT JANUARY.

You may now continue complaining that you haven't seen latest releases in your local stores two weeks after they've been spotted somewhere in the USA.
