    I've been doing some new Intro/Title Animations for Celldweller.
    The first episode of "Recording Cessions" Features John Aschalew, Sound designer. Designing sounds for cues for the upcoming Transformers 4 movie. (1:30 mark)

    Just to be clear, was that sound tests for music in the movie/trailers? Or sound effects in the movie? Because if that was a sound effects test for movie effects, that was very shity.

    What the hell happened to going out in the field and performing experiments with all kinds of tubes and dry ice and stuff like in DOTM? Did the budget cut not allow for it?

    Amazing how some of you are able to determine the quality of the Transformers 4 sound effects based on a four minutes handycam video (sound not coming directly from the soundboard) of two people showing of what is little more than a test.

    And disgusting how two members even have to go and insult a guy because of his hairstyle. I'm not big on the emo/screamo/goth scene and I only barely know some stuff by Celldweller and Blue Stahli, but way to be total internet pricks, guys. Please cry some more next time somebody bullies you because you like toy robots.

    This is a fun little behind-the-scenes look. It really doesn't reveal anything interesting, but it's nice to see for those who're invested in the artist or the movie. Nothing more, and nothing wrong with that.

    Oh wow, Celldweller?! AWESOME! I saw them at CBGB's a number of years ago (before they closed down obviously) and they were incredible.

    I would love to have a play about with those analogue synths. Though patching something that size is probably a nightmare at the best of times.

    As for the few who are saying it sounds crap. No sound in any film will just be recorded then put in the movie. It'll be heavily edited over and over again before being synced to the actual film visualizations.
