There is an interesting new skn that popped up in the TRU computer system.......

    Item: 528991

Description: EX TF TRA OPTIMUS PRIMAL VS ME (translation: megatron)

    STYLE: 81550

    Retail: $39.99

With Target clearancing the Beast Wars Anniversary figures, is it possible that this is the home for the two New BW molds? Or is this something else entirely? :ev:

    Time will tell.....

Hmmm that is interesting...msybe it is the two new molds, but $39.99 is a bit steep for two deluxes...I thought maybe it could be importing the Takara remolds of the two, but that price is way too low for two ultras...

Sounds interesting. It's probably the Hasbro molds, but I wouldn't count out the Takara versions just yet. Hasbro has alsways been really good at giving the fans what they want... we'll have to wait and see!

How so? Both molds were 19.99 each way back in 96. I for one could care less about the DVD that the set comes with in japan. Round 19/99 to 20$, put 2 20$ figures, and voila, a 39.99 figure set! I doubt hasbro would put the new deluxe primal and megs in a 2 pack and charge 40$ for them. Come on thats pushing it! Alone the new mold versions are 14.99

Considering that the Fan Club newsletter had the new molds listed as wave 3 of BW, I am leaning towards this listing being something different than the new Hasbro molds.

Listings in store computers aren't exacly known for their consitency or their reliability. But TRA is used as a standard listing for Transformers based products in most computer systems.

    ^^^

    :peoples:

I think TF = Transformers and TRA = ...something else. Surely, they can't both stand for Transformers. That's kinda redundant, not to mention redundant.

My money is on the Takara remolds. TRU usually gets the Takara-exclusive molds (SL Optimus and Megatron, normal-sized Cyb Starscream), and this is too expensive to be the new deluxes. The only other possibility I can think of is Optimal Optimus and TM2 Megs, but I think that would be too big.

I would think either Transmetals (probably not), or the two deluxes with something extra. If they were to sell the BWR figures, I would think that they would make it over $50
