What happened to NKelsch's Icon of the Day Site?

    Has anyone else besides me been having trouble accessing his site? Everytime I've tried to go to it for the last few days, I keep getting the dreaded "error 404 - page cannot be found" message. Is it down, moved, or just my computer/internet connection? I love the site, and I'm having withdrawls not being able to see more new icony goodness. :cry

    I saw a thread about the site on the AllSpark the other day... somebody was hosting the icons or something. Let me se if I can find the link.

    Or maybe not... they were just complainging about the site being down, too. Could have sworn i sw somethign about somebody hosting it... :peoples:

    I'm operating on the assumption that it's just down for a bit. This isn't the first time the site has gone down for a couple days.

    That or Nkelsch has finally decided to give up on icons. :p  But I'm sure his site must be down.

    I've wondered this myself...which sucks, I really enjoyed seeing his updates everyday:( 

    I really miss the comics he used to do too...they were funny as hell :cry

    Looks like his site is undergoing a reconstruction or moving to another domain...

    Yeah, those were a riot. My favorites are the ones with Pretender Starscream, Kup and Scrapper. Including Huffer.

    It's one of mine too, I check it every day! :thumbs2: 

    I'm sure Nick hasnt given up with the site. I know for a fact that he has plenty of other icons he hasnt posted yet, and even if he DID give up icon making, he would never just close the site, he would just stop updating it. How else would we ever be able to see his awesome archives of awesome icons... that are awesome.

    Let's just give it a little longer, I'm sure everything's fine.

    The site is still down...I'm thinking that it's gone for good.

    Does Nick still drop by here? Maybe he'll see this thread and shed some light on the subject. I miss his Icon of the Day forum he had here awhile ago too:(

    I think I have his email adress somewhere... I'll drop him a message asking him what's going on...

    I'm sad now cuz there is no icon for today, and there hasn't been for the last 2 weeks :(

    That's what I don't understand. If Nick was done with icons, he would just have to stop updating the site, I don't see the need to completely shut it down. Unless he got into trouble with Hasbro or something o_O

    It's really weird; do you think he lost the domain name? Anyone know the old IP address? If you do know how to get a hold of him, please do so. I don't think it's ever been down this long.

    Someone hijacked my domain. Someone gained access to my info through the company I registered the DNS through and took over all my settings, Changed the password and the site info.

    I can't prove to the registrar who I am without some registered notarized paperwork now.

    So the DNS is non-existant for the registrar... I might end up transfering the registration to someone else.
