Is Groove a tank?!

 

Blades is kind of a cluster-mess in copter mode (but hey, it's a copter mold). Seems kinda hilarious that Groove is now an armored vehicle.

 

At least these are still Bot Shots, and not Jump-Shots, or Spin-Shots.

Not sure what's up with the orange on Blades, but interesting and hilarious choice for Groove though.

 

I think its hilarious that instead of just painting over the molded missile bay detail from the Vortex mold, they actually painted in yellow missiles for Blades. If this ever actually comes out I'm in just for Groove because A: Its a Brawl repaint and I'm still completest on Movie Brawl based stuff. and B: Groovetank.

 

Groove should have been a car not a tank. Although a laidback peaceloving pacifist tank would be a new thing for Transformers.

Also I like that Blades is clearly based on the Rescue Bots version. Though this sets looses a point for First Aid just being a straight-up Ratchet repaint.

 

Groove just got tired of people questioning the logic of his scale, and literally went ballistic.

Anyhow, while I'm mostly done with Bot Shots (all the annoying variations or "whatever-shot" killed the line for me), I will pick these up happily. My favorite combiner team done in the old-style Bot Shot body, sold!

 

Small arms fire just bouncing off him as he trudges closer and closer, pavement cracking and the ground rumbling with each step, "hey, guys, quit that... let's talk about this... come on guys..."

I think it's a Rescue Bots homage, bizarrely enough.

Though I see now that it's based off Rescue Bots, at first I thought it was an homage to Charlie Chopper.
