They make the Clone Trooper look really nice there.

 

What happened to Chewie's sombrero???

These figures keep looking less and less like the original SW characters. General Greivous is pretty easy to pass off. Vader, pretty good. Luke, not bad. Obi Wan...eh. But that Imperial Shuttle/ Emperor? Not even close. Chewie in white armor? Well, at least it's before Labor Day. Oh well. The collector's nature in me will still probably get them, as he ships are pretty much dead on. Now where's the Sebulba/ Pod Racer? Or the Jabba/ Sail Barge? Or Padme/ Naboo starfighter. Oh well. With the way this line is going, the next one will probably be Jar Jar/ Ugly sub thing- with voice chip.

I think this line would have been better off if the ships had simply turned into robots. Ships modes all look great, but humanish modes just aren't working. Maybe if they're done some kind of headmaster style thing to have the characters as the pilot.

I'm glad I get my SW starship fix from Titaniums.

 

Palpatine wouldn't look that bad if he had a didnt head on the bot mode. The robot body looks solid, just the head looks bad. Same goes for the Falcon, if Han and Chewie weren't Han and Chewie but had different heads, the bot modes wouldn't look nearly so ridiculous.

 

Palpatine need a new head so bad, the Clone Trooper look so cool, i think i might just star picking up a little of this line, they are so getting better as they go.

 

ARC Fighter has a very Cybertron Jetfire like head, don't you think.

 

I admit I had a hard time seeing Palpatine in that. I don't think I could have figured that face out without some help.

 

I might actually hafta get that ARC-fighter one. Looks pretty kewl, and the Clone trooper pilot head looks more robot-like than most.

 

Look better than I had originally thought, but I will still probably skip them.

 

These are a lot better pics. The emperor looks good, except he doesn't look like the emperor. Also Han and Chewy look better too.
Jesus I better quit drinking in the morning, everything is looking good to me.

 

Clone trooper actually looks kinda neat. Might have to give that boy a shot. Han and Chewie look good too, actually, aside from the heads.

Now that I see Chewie doesn't have a sombrero, I'm sold on the Falcon.

The emperor doesn't look like the emperor, which IMHO it's a good thing. I get a Thunderwing's pretender head vibe from it.

And the ARC-170/Clone Pilot is the best of the line so far.

Man, it's getting hard NOT to kitbash these guys into autobots and decepticons. All Palpatine needs is a splash of yellow paint on his face and he's Jhiaxus.

 

You know the kitbashing idea is the best I've heard. The Chewie looks really bad but the Han looks somewhat decent. I won't be picking up any of them unless I can get them loose in a few months when someone else is bored with them.
