Alas, our original and long running Star Wars figures thread seems to have perished this weekend :-( So we'll just have to start a new one !

Man SW is really going to hurt my pockets this year.

See a pilot with a groundcannon, but no bubbleblaster pods for the Gunships , wahh!
Will be nice to get Vaders TIE. Still need a large scale Interceptor.

Looking foward to the SWTF Mill Falcon and Imp Shuttle. And just as nervous to discovering their quality

Staying away from the TFs - which are being talked about on the news page - there's not a lot that's new here.

I'd seen VOTC already - the Luke and Biker Scout will be mine, and possibly the Han but my aversion to oversized and over bulky soft good cloak makes me want to avoid the Tusken Raider.

I don't believe Chief Chirpa, the Death Star Gunner, Moff Jerejod - if it is Moff jerejod, could be a Veers I suppose, and Endor Deity C3P0 have been shown before and I'm going to need bigger pictures to comment on them. Let's hope C3P0's legs can bend to sit in that chair.

The display platform with the Fett figure at the top right of the figures section is apparently a forthcoming "Demise of Boba Fett" battlepack.

Thankfully Bounty Hunt is just some alternate packaging and silvered holo figures. Phew.

Hasbro's Website has more pics of the VOTC, Ultimate Bounty Hunt and forthcoming exclusives. Someone show me a pre order for the Hunt for General Grievous now - already got Skirmish at the Senate sorted out !

Still hoping for a fully balljointed Boba. Can't believe the SAGA line used one of the weaker Bobas. They could've atleast went with the good ESB Boba.
He would've posed nicely on those stands. Vader & the ATAT pilot pose pretty well on theirs.

Finally picked up the silver anny R2D2

Wonder which ship he looks best in? He'd look good in a Royal Starship but not sure if they have droid bays. Still hav'nt opened him yet.
Dying to get those droid 5packs

Mine are sitting in London at my parents waiting for me - I had them delivered there as one of my credit cards is still registered to that address. My BW10th Anniversary wave 1 are keeping them company !

I'm disappointed in the Hunt for Grievous Battlepack. 2 good clones out of 5? The original ARC mold sucks ass. I bought one and was like, meh. I bought another just to have more than one ARC, but I tend to army build in fives and no way did I want that many of him. Everybody later went apeshit over the scarce red one and I just didn't get it.
The red ARC (and heavy gunner) in this battlepack is how they all should have been done. Frankenstein an ARC from the SA body and RotS Commanders and throw those damn CW ARC molds away. I may buy more than one just to get the poseable red ARC and heavy gunner and ebay the excess regular ARCs.

VOTC Biker Scouts on the other hand, gimmegimme.

Those Attackix style mini Unleashed 4 pack figures have been taunting me.
Been seeing Clone sets, Wookie sets, Battle Droid sets etc..

Anyone been buying them? They look pretty cool for mini's.
Wonder if they have any articulation

I got 2 utapau clones and scorch. Hasbro just needs to release the galactic marine and then I'll be able to make a rainbow with all my clones.

Ugh. I haven't seen ANY Geonosis wave. Not even a few leftovers after the clones have been cleaned out. Nothing at WM. Nothing at Target. Nothing at TRU. If they have anything, they have Jabba wave leftovers and maaaybe a Derlin or Rieekan.

WTF? I've been surprised at how easy it was to find the Jabba and Hoth waves. Both waves, I came across a case or more on the pallet at WM, multiple times. The first time was all it took. I opened the case, put the dupes on the pegs and bought a set. I've come across entire waves on the pegs at Target and TRU a few times during the day.
If I'd seen half as many Geonosis wave cases as I've seen of those two, I'd already be well on my way to the desired 10 Utapau clones.

    :mad

    Well, that was fast.

Came across a case of the Geonosis wave tonight at two different WMs. Needless to say, I bought all the clones, and one each of the rest of the wave, minus the straight repack Jango and Yoda.

So now, I only have to raid every case I see just for the Utapau clones. :ev:

Got my Poggle the Lesser, Scorch and 2 x Uttapau Troopers today.

Never had the Genosian War Room so Poggle completes my sepratist leaders.

Uttapau Clones are a nice redeco of the ROTS#41 SA version.

Scorch is a very nice EU insert into the figure line up, a bit static below the waist but stable.
