Here is my Generation 1 cabnet. when re discovered and started collecting transformers again, I never imagined I could obtain this many G1s in such good condition. At one point these shelves were loaded with more RID, Armada, and alts than g1, then came the day when I made my regular toydealer re-think his trade-in values , and converted it to about half of what it is now. Some points of note; duke and cobra commander on the aplicable faction sheves. My half-ass hacked masterforce shelf at the bottom. unicrons chest with the seperator painted in. Here are my "everything else" shelves. I was at a point where I had given up collecting anything but pure g1, but some part of me kept yearning for particular figs; Some of the alts were just too good, energon galvatron is just too...freakin....GALVATRON, G2 Megatron was an awsome character, etc. Some points of note; The KO original mold BM primal. MW prime, which I thought I would never find out in the wild. Small ene megs, and cyb thrust-scream, I LOVE these, Hasbro, please use these molds again. (btw, he got hazed out in the compression, but a snake-eyes is suposed to be standing in front of alt prowl)
I like it! I feel it's much better having shelves like that instead of jamming like 200 TFs on one shelf. Too much clutter isnt good. This way you can see everything you have!
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Metroplex is just being a holding place for them till I get the other two limbs and the rest of the add-on parts. Also I can provide MUCH clearer pics if anyone wants them, I just jacked up the compression so they would fit on my pic host's limit, and be a little more dial up friendly.
Well, I changed out the pictures. I forgot my camera is set to allmost no compression by default, so I over compensated the first round, these are set to medium-ish compression, makes a big difference, you can see snake-eyes . Also, thought I would take this oprotunity to show off my cameras super-macro mode. This is a head-shot from VSX wst Prime, I had to re-take it, becase a piece of DUST got in the way of the first one. I mean, you can do some mild micro-scope like work with this thing. Its only 3 mega pixels too, I wonder what those crazy 8 mega pixel cams can do.
nice collection, i should post mine aswell one day, once i clear some stuff out. Yeah nice collection reminds me of what my g1 was once.
Yeah, unfortuantly those heads are hard as hell to find. As of now I got another pretender to thicken out the autobot side, so I put all the jr hms in alt mode.
