I think this one's an Autobot combiner, IIRC.

Hm. Was looking forward to seeing these, but from these fuzzy pics they look a little underwhelming. A bit too Brave for me, I think; my tastes tend to run in the other direction. In bot mode they almost look like... and I feel sort of bad even saying this, and hope to be proven resoundingly wrong... Roadbots.

But I'll wait for better pics to make a final call. The vehicle modes look nice. I'm pretty firmly of the opinion that you can never have too many Transformers emergency vehicles.

 

For those prices, they aren't cyberverse.

 

Also, the cop car clearly has electronics in it, which explains the higher price.

I'm curious if it's just lights, or lights and sounds.

Looking at these modes though... in the firetruck chest mode, looks like the truck and cop car combine to form the body while the jet becomes the legs... while with the cop car chest configuration, the legs are the firetruck and the jet is the midsection.

Very interesting.

 

I may have to look into them, then. With my luck they'd be main cast characters and I'd miss out on them, because we know Hasbro isn't bringing them our way.

They look pretty cool. and really do hope that Hasbro decides to bring them stateside, but can understand if they don't they look pretty damned exceedingly japanese.

 

That looks very promising. Three configurations for the combined mode? Way to go, Takara.

And yes, I too love how Brave-esque this is turning out.
