    Stretch Armstrong? Really??

    "Transformers 4 is set to release in 2014. Also, Stretch Armstrong will have a movie series as well as a TV series in 2014. Brian said people are asking about Transformers 4 and Hasbro plans for 2013."

    Reinventing the brand would be muuuch easier if they just focused on TV shows which would allow for a muuuch wider variety of characters than a movie.

    Low sales due to no new characters, huh? How insightful, maybe next time try releasing a toyline that isn't 50% Bumblebee and Optimus.

    Finally, they get that the constant remaking/repainting/repacking of the same half dozen characters is what's been killing their sales. I hope that they will apply this knowledge to the prime line.

    The bad news: Half the movie is a giant "pull my finger" joke.
    The worse news: The other half involves Jason Mewes wondering if Stretch really CAN stretch everything to enormous proportions.

    I would love to see Transformers 4 revolve around DECEPTICONS and their side of the story. Hasbro wants a new angle for their franchise? Start giving the Decepticons some of the spotlight. I support the Stunticons for Transformers 4.

    Well, considering the post-apocalyptic genre seems to be going in full swing, a movie in similar style to All Hail Megatron might actually be pretty good.

    Someone should have asked Hasbro how they feel about 3rd parties handling their brand and characters in better ways than they do anymore.

    EXACTLY!!!

    Anybody remember the 2002 MOTU/He-Man failure? A "Hero Case" consisting of six of the same He-Man and one each of two other good guys and a "Villain Case" consisting of six of the same Skeletors and one each of two other bad guys. Followed by the toy line and cartoon being cancelled due to poor toys sales.

    I guess they can't see the forest for the trees. Sigh.
