Nice review! I knew ahead of time I only wanted to get this mold once, though, and I picked Drift. That gun is epic, though.
Very cool can't wait to get him and let him chill with City Commander, Defender & hopefully Protector a Perceptor. Now if hasbro would just give us Kup.
Nice review. Not a big fan of Blurr (outside of Animated), but my girl digs him. Probably pick this one up for her. Funny enough, just before you started going on about how much you loved the headsculpt...I was thinking just how ugly and horrible I think it is. I dunno just the size of his head, with all the stuff stacked up over the face and stuff, it just looks bad IMO. Still, the Drift mold is an incredible figure, so regardless the character, the thing is worth owning in some way.
Way too chunky for Blurr especially in the shoulders but yeah your right about the paint job, weapons, and head sculpt. Great changes that give him his own personality so I will acquire on sight.
I can't believe people have stated that they hate the head sculpt. That's one of the best I've seen in the entirety of transformers. It's like people forget how shitty his G1 head was. Anyway, those guns are awesome and I guess I have to pick up this mold, abit retooled, again just to get my hands on that.
I skimmed through the review with the sound off. It looks a lot better than I thought. Lovin the head and his sniper rifle, a la the 86 movie. It is a little bogus how its basically Drift but whatever, he still looks badass. Its either this or his Ent mode from Animated.....so this one wins
Nice review. Awesome figure cant wait to pick him up. I'm pretty jealous you got him so soon before release. Still waiting on wave 2 let alone wave 3.
Great review, man. Blurr looks awesome, and I love his sniper rifle and how the smaller pistols can attach to it.
You can change the look of the figure by folding the shoulder pads/fenders down alongside the back of his arms. I'm curious to see how Blurr would look posed in the sitting position with his rifle; that might be a nice way to display him up in a corner somewhere. ~Z
I don't understand why they gave Blurr a sniper rifle. Considering Blurr, I'd doubt he'd have the patience to snipe And wasn't it Perceptor that was a sniper (mold please?) Anyways, looks like a good figure. The lack of waist joint hinders the sniping poses tho, so I'd say Im sticking with Drift for now.
