so i purchased a energon megatron last week off ebay came in today missing the barrel to his tank and the boxed was all messed up over charged me for shipping and now im all sorts of mad what do i do  

 

Contact the seller first, if that doesn't work, file a claim with Paypal.

 

If it was totally misrepresented in the auction, definitely file a claim.
I was in a similar situation where I got a Classics Megs and Prime from a guy that took pics of them in-box...looked brand new never opened. I get them and the boxes are damaged and the toys are untied and thrown into their boxes when I get them.

Filed the claim with Paypal and got my money back and the guy was banned from Ebay  

 

Yeah, buying figures on ebay can be a real crapshoot. I've been screwed about half the time I've bought anything, because either the seller doesn't know what he's selling, or doesn't package my purchase even close to acceptable... One guy just threw an entire lot of loose figures into an empty box and shipped them that way!

Definitely contact the seller and see if there's anything he can do about the situation -- it could be a simply, easily remedied mistake. If he doesn't dance to your tune, then you may have to play hardball and get the Ebay powers-that-be involved, or even go over his head, to paypal. They almost ALWAYS side with the buyer.

At the very least, don't shy away from reporting him for overcharging shipping -- charging more than the auction states without any mention of handling charges is a violation...

 

wow thanks guys for the info i emailed him he better be have the barrel damn it lol and he better not be a bean bag about it

 

That sucks man, hope it works out. I didn't know the barrel was detachable.

If he's being a tool about it, Paypal dispute. Item not as described. They'll side with you, they always do.

 

Let me guess was his reply to you in all caps saying you got what was listed in the auction? That's what my guy pulled...definite dooshbag.

File the claim and get his sorry butt banned from Ebay.
