    Two question though...

    How can this guy get figures from the botcon set so early...thought these sets were pretty much under lock and key...?

    Second...when these are produced for botcon are the recolors done in the molding process or are artist hired to paint them...?

    He/she either a) works at the factories that make the toys and is stealing them, or b) knows someone that works there. Either way, it's ridiculous. If I was going to Botcon this year, I'd be PISSED. I know FP has been trying to buy all of these up, but there's got to be a way to stop it from happening.

    Wow, this is really nuts this year. I don't remember this many showing up on ebay in the past this early. Pre-orders sure, but not in hand like this.

    How in God's name are they getting all these exclusives? People get pissed at the scaplers but maybe they should be getting pissed at these guys. These are more sets that could have been sold to people attending the convention.

    I wish China would take them ALL & put them on Ebay. I'm sick & tired of this limited edition/exclusive garbage.

    One or two limited editions/exclusives per year is fine, but they've been going completely friggin insane in the past few years. Every time they come out with one of these it means another figure that I'll probably never be able to get. So I'm in full support of this, let China screw FP over. I'm lovin it! I'm still pissed over last years Thundercracker,Dirge & Thrust that I'll never be able to get.

    Just remember that owning toys is a privelage not a right. You're not entitled to them in any way, shape or form. Sure, not everyone's going to be able to get these, but for those that can more power to them.

    As for the guys at the factories taking them... I really don't support the practice, but I'm sure that many of us at one time or another (myself included) have bought something 'questionable' from someone in Hong Kong on eBay.

    Think everyone understands that these exclusives are bought/sold for the more 'keen' collector, but I also understand where Noisemaze is coming from - last years stunt WAS low that several main G1 characters were kept from the grasp of the regular collector, something thats been creeping in more & more. It started in 2005 with Ironhide & Ratchet, and its now gonna happen every year. I'm hoping & praying that they don't use Botcon '09 to release Red Alert from the Sideswipe/Sunstreaker mold...or god forbid, Sideswipe himself. These robbing gits will do owt to p*** off genuine fans.
