A disclaimer: Chevy Aveo Swerve does not come with any accessories. The shots at the end of the gallery featuring Swerve with a gun and sword used accessories borrowed from a Beast Wars Neo Archadis and a Final Fantasy VII Sephiroth. (I thought he looked particularly sharp with the sword in hand, though)

All told, he cost me the equivalent of $32. But I am based in the UK so I didn't get hit with the international order surcharge. For the price, I think it was a good deal.

I got him on ebay for a best offer a few months back. With shipping it was about $85, I'm just trying to calculate how much I overpaid getting him here to the US.

Damn, I wanted one before, but now I REALLY want one. :(

Are there any European types who'd be willing to bring some extras to BotCon? $32 sounds very enticing, especially after the 35-Euro-surcharge-plus-ridiculous-shipping fiasco. (And I'd be willing to pay someone more for their trouble.)

    Please? :)

Any pics of him with other figures? I'm guessing that he is roughly deluxe scale?

I need that figure. But I would not pay more than $25.

Damn. I really want that figure but to go through that whole international charge and shipping crap would have made it waaaay too expensive. If anybody reading this is going to Botcon, ask Hasbro if they're gonna use this mold in the Universe (or any other) line or at least make it easily available to folks in other countries.

Decent bot mode, but not enough to spend good money on that crappy looking alt mode.

My Swerve turned up a couple of days ago and I have to say, it was a miracle that it wasn't destroyed in the post.

It was packaged in one of the cardboard sleeves that Amazon uses to send books. Which doesn't sound too bad until you udnerstand that the box was too small for the figure and that most of the packaging was torn because of this :(

As it turns out, my figrue didn't get damaged but I can imagine other people in the UK not being so lucky.

Also, I ordered two of them, I figured that I could get one for myself and one to offer people on here. They sent me one item and haven't taken payment for it yet. I am waiting to see if they charge for two items and if so, I will be getting very angry with somebody, somewhere ;)

As for the figure itself, its the sunny side of meh. It kinda sits nicely with TF:TM deluxes like BB and Swindle which puts it firmly in the deluxe category for me. Transformation is simple and looks a damn sight better than some of the movie drone bots. Worth a purchase if you can get it for around $30 but I wouldn't pay any more for it.

Anyone else ordered Swerve from Europe, (or even more specifically from the Netherlands), who hasn't yet received their item (or items, in my case)?
I ordered two Swerves, and they are still displayed in my order history, but so far no charges on my credit card and no package in the mail :-( I do know people who did receive their orders didn't get a confirmation mail of shipping (as promised in the first order mail), but still...

I've sent an e-mail to Chevy yesterday, but so far, no reply. I'm getting slightly worried.

I think you're being paranoid. You have to remember they are a huge corporation and you can imagine the volume of mail they must recieve.
