It might be due to the lack of color, but that looks really weird. Like the head antennas or whatever point too far forward. It's a shame the sword still looks like crap compared to the custom one.
I like the new head, but I doubt I would buy the toy again -unless I saw it on clearance or something. Why is Bumblebee pictured, too?
^Silver paint on the thighs was all that I noticed in the first pic that was released. Seems like a trade off though as they took away the blue paint apps on his hips.
Actually, after revieing the pic again it looks as though his arms and ankles are silver with some goold on his shoulders as well.
Hasbro US 'Premium' version: Silver paint on thighs and crotch, with gold apps on shoulders in robot mode; silver paint on front bumper, grill, filter tanks, windshield visor, wheel rims and fuel tank (toy battery cover) in vehicle mode. TakaraTomy US Battle Mode version: Same paint in robot mode; vaccum-metalised (chrome) on all appropriate truck parts except his smokestacks in vehicle mode. Apparently.
Nice head, but why not include the mouth/guard piece like Cyb. Prime? You know cause Prime only had his mask on for maybe 4 out of the 30 minutes he appeared on scene. Also, the mouth version was the one of the big draws for me so now that its gone i dunno...seems less appealing.
