And the coolest thing. The missiles have a face molded into them. I filled the molding with a crayon so it could be seen.

Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to pick this mold up.

What exactly is the gimmick that pops out of the sides of the arms supposed to be? Blades?

Still looks pretty great. There's a lot to love about this mold... the hands, the facial expression, the color scheme, the spring-loaded arm gimmick, etc.

There are also a few things I don't like about it, though. I'm not fond of the way the back/wing section looks "empty" from the front in robot mode (over and behind the shoulders). The open space and structural ribbing make it look a little rushed to me (I have the same problem with Classics Grimlock's forearms). I wish the plastic were filled in solidly in those sections, or even that it had some sculpted details in it. And I'm still not too fond of the jet mode... the telescoping nosecone, with its big graduated vent, diminishes sleekness and makes him look like a pigeon.

Still, those are minor complaints. Overall the figure looks excellent, and it's still a definite buy for me. Oh, and excellent photos, they really show it off nicely! The group shot of the four Screamers looks fantastic. :)

I must have it. I feel bad for initally doubting this series now. After the first three episodes and these toys I am hooked. Now we must have a look at Grimlock please.

The guns slide forward causing the arm things to come open. I'm still not sure what they are supposed to be. They are kinda short for blades.

Wish he had the null rays on his arms like in the cartoon but still pretty cool nonetheless.

Likes--- It carries the Starscream name

Dislikes--- The face has human features and not robot. "Here's my chin, it's a human sagging 80yr old chin and you will like it..... for I am ANIMATED"!
MP starscream is so much better!...........Sorry, there's no comparison.

What's the price comparison between the Animated and MP Starscream? **RETAIL** ....... Just curious.
    $15. and $49. ??
