Someone mentioned this is the News and Rumors thread about MP Starscream showing up in the U.S. A lot of us want this figure, it's going to be more difficult to find other TFs, especially due to scalpers, so here's an official thread for posting purchases and make deals with fellow members. My goal with this? That every person who wants one is able to get at least one at cost + whatever shipping. For those who want to help out international members first, great. If you want to send it to whoever is closest to you, fine. Farthest, also good. The only thing that I even consider a "rule" is that I'd like to see everyone who wants one get one first before shipping multiples to one person. But again, I'm not enforcing or complaining if someone decides to do differently, and I'm not trying to stipulate how you have to participate in this. It's a service, pure and simple, that I hope will hook the people who want one with the people who can find them (and vice versa!) in order to help ensure that ALL of us who are passionate about Transformers and want this figure are able to secure one for ourselves. EDIT: Here's how the list works. As of right now, everyone's name is in bold. Once you get your figure, I'm asking people to PM me or post and let me know. If you were only looking for one, you will be removed from the list entirely. If you were looking for multilples, your name will be unbolded and an asterix placed in front, so the people who still need a first one will stand out by staying bold, while others who are still looking for one will stay on the list at a lower priority. I'm looking for 1 or 2 as I am in Canada also. I imagine this thread will be quite one-sided for a good while though as really this guy has only come out at 2-3 stores in the whole USA. Everyone's so eager, and rightly so I suppose (but we must have patience). EDIT: oh, I have misb 08BB, g1 jazz, and tons of g1 to trade if that helps coax anyone in the upcoming weeks.

I actually have some American friends keeping a lookout for me so if I chance to get one first, I could always check and see if I can get more as well. I'm in for ONE myself. I have money set aside to buy three of them should I come across them. For the record, I stay away from WalMart as a rule. But for this instance I'll set my personal politics aside for the good of the fandom. Unfortunately the scalpers already have a head start on this guy judging by the number of them on Ebay, but with enough determination and communication we should be able to make sure everyone who wants one gets one. Also, just speaking for myself but I will not supply anyone with more than one Starscream. I know a lot of people like to have two or more, which is fine, but I'm not going to support that, at least not until everyone who wants one has one. Also also, I will be looking out for my fellow local collectors first and formost.
Yeah, no offense to the MIBers, but everyone who needs one should get them first. If you want one, and everyone gets him, and there're still some left/available for you to get a second, more power to you. But, it's not fair to others if one person gets two, while some don't get any. Does everyone agree that this is fair?
Seems fair to me, even if I'm a MISB'er I actually need 3 - lol - two for me (one MISB, one to play with) and one for a friend... so if anyone gets spares, even if it's just one, let me know, I can pay over Paypal immediately (I'm in the uK)
I'll see what I can do to help. Although if I do find some, the most I can do is pick up one extra. I only want one for myself, and luckily I have about 3 wal-marts that I can go to once a week or more.
I need one! My walmart is CRAWLING w/ scalpers! There's groups of them and they acctually RUN for it when the store opens. They're really into GIJoes and Hotwheels too. I've never seen ANYTHING on the shelves here =(
