McFarlane has announced that they will not only be producing MC figures but also figures of the different Armor sets in Halo 3!! The Eva will be mine!! And He is in my colors!!! =D These figures are additions to the first assortment of figures that include the original MC, Brute Chieftain, 2-Pack Grunts, and Beam Rifle Jackal. Much like the Master Chief figure, all of the Spartan figures will be 5 inches tall, with more than 18 points of articulation. Each figure will come with an assault rifle and grenade accessories, which can be hand-held or stored on the figure's back or leg. Is it just me, or do they look like they're in odd colors? Anyways, no mix and match = not nearly as good. I wonder how many people actually use all pieces from one suit? And those grenades hanging off the legs just don't look good.
Wow this is pretty sweet. I'd love to see the Katana armor in there sometime during the course of the series.
Now that I think about it, these are definitely Red vs Blue figures, heh. We have, in the Spartan Mk VI armor, Sarge, Church, and Church's Ghost. Now we just need Simmons, Griff, Donut, and the rest of Blue Team. Oh, and Tex. And maybe Wyoming and the medic.
I'm surprised that McFarlane's people remember how to add articulation, since it has been so long sicne they did that.
Definitely want a red and the blues.. Got to get me a Caboose figure. Too bad the red doesn't come with a shotgun.
Yay, poseability. Most of my Mcfarlanes only have 4-5 points of art. These look pretty damn good. Might be fun to customize
They already have a Wyoming, last one in the pics. I'll definately try getting the Blue Spartan. I'll most likely try and get the red Spartan too while I'm at it. (I want my Caboose figure. Red needs a Shotgun though) Most of the new Armour styles in Halo 3 dont do anything for me though, so I'll be sticking with good old fashioned Mark VI? (Or is it IV, I dunno) Also, when the Elite's come round, I hope they make an articulated Arbiter (sp?).
If you buy two, maybe. I'd consider it Church's Ghost first, unless they come out with a milky-clear version.
