Went to Best Buy.com today to see if there was anything special going on there for the DVD release of Transformers, and lookie what I found:

There's two Robot Heroes repaints! One of them has Movie Bumblebee repainted red as Cliffjumper, and Movie Optimus Prime which appears to have a G1 Ultra Magnus redeco.

How many different copies of this movie am I going to have to buy on the 16th?
 

 

Man, the sheer number of exclusives is overwhelming. I'm leaning towards this one, but I'll have to take a good at the others first.

There's no way I'm owning five different copies of THE SAME MOVIE.

 

So what are the Ratchet and Megatron (Metallic Versions) we have been seeing on Ebay?

Also, is it known if this 2 pack will come with the regular release DVD as well as the 2 pack

 

That image is so small, that when I saw it on the front page I thought it was a RH G1 Thrust ... and it turns out to be Cliffjumper.  

Of all the 'extras' offered so far with the different versions of the movie, this is the one I'm most interested in.

I thought it was a G1 ironhide with a re-paint into ratchet.

Exclusives FTW!

 

I was already planning to buy the DVD at Best Buy for the metallic Ratchet.... but this just cinches it. I'm a sucker for Robot Heroes.

Although, geez, the estimated arrival date is in November. Anyone know if these will be available in the store, or is it only an online exclusive? I don't want to wait an extra month for it, but I will if need be.

That's definitely CliffJumper sporting some gold paint on his shins.
Black windows, black car decals, gunmetal inner robot frame, silver face, red body.
Maybe some light blue eyes?
The other one looks like Ultra Magnus. He seems to be just a standard RH Prime figure with white in place of the of silver, purple in place of the blue, and a spot of yellow on his belly instead of gold.

Not bad at all. I just hope Best Buy has enough of these to meet demand. Their stuff is usually limited to stores.

 

Cool. I might get this version just so I can have Cliffjumper. Either way, the decisions are mounting!

 

I think we are all missing the most important question...

WHAT ABOUT THE METALLIC FINISHED FIGURES?????!!!!

Eh, if I have to choose between one or the other I'll get metallic Voyager Megatron. I like some Robot Heroes, but not enough to bother with repaints.
