Not sure if this was posted yet or not. I work CVS/pharmacy in Woonsocket, RI and i was running their planogram for Oct. and saw that the TRANSFORMERS DVD street date was 10/16/07 ya baby!
In general the US release date is not that interesting to me, for obvious reasons. But I'd like to know, are there different dates for different versions? More specifically, would this date also be the one for the Wal-Mart version?
I read the same thing on the highdefdigest forums. I hope it is correct. I can't wait to watch the movie in HD in the comfort of my living room.
Yeah, Who is not going to want the exclusive WalMart version with the animated prequel feature? That's going to be a pain, cuz they never put the new stuff out at midnight, they usually wait until the next day shift around my way. I wonder what 'exclusive' content Target will have? The way things are going, I'll probably end up buying from more then one location.
Now that's prime... dvd on oct 16th well i have an xbox and planned on getting a dvd to wear the hell out and an hd dvd for when i feel in the hd mood, having a 42inch plasma tv has its advantages and i'll be sniffin megan fox's thong from ebay that thread is gold and needs to be trans-scripted and sent to her
http://forums.highdefdigest.com/showthread.php?t=15620 For those curious what was said on the HighDefDigest Forums. Looks like a pre-order page on a site for HD movies too.
Sweet, so is this HD DVD version also going to have the DVD version on the other side like some of the other HD DVDs? I'm wondering because I'm planning on getting the 360 add on in December so I might just buy the HD DVD version at realease if it hast he regular DVD version included.
I don't want to be stick in the mud here, but that seems way too early. Hell Spider-Man 3 is Scheduled for Release on 10-30-2007 and it came out before Transformers.
Sorry untill Blu-Ray totally beats our HD DVD(Which I hope never happens) it won't. A few days ago Paramount and Dreamworks have made the move to only support HDDVD and as a result the Blu-Ray edition has been canceled. I'm surpised you didn't know about this already smangerbot after all Micheal Bay made headlines when whinning about it a couple of days ago.
Which version is going to be the multi-disc set with all the bonus stuff...? anyone know..I though it was just the regular DVD....
Actually I hope it does, since it already is, just not completely. anyway, on-topic.... If they plan on having extra footage on the DVD (which I hope they do) and this extra footage involves the robots (which I hope it does), then I hope this early release isn't a bad sign, in that I'd imagine that any extra scenes with the robots would have had taken time to render (according to Bay "A Frame a Day"). Now obviously they could have started the scenes processing a long time ago. I just hope we don't get screwed with a basic release and have to wait months, if not a year, for a real meaty release.
Hrmmm. Deff getting HD version, but does anyone know if the Walmart version of HD will have the extra stuff? Or is it just the DVD version at Walmart? I wonder.
headlines? i avoid the movie forum usually, and it wasn't mentioned on the BBC news website so i apologise for suprising you. so i guess i won't be buying the movie then...
i hope it comes out on blueray- Blueray is crushing hd dvd- and i'd get it because it happens that a PS3 plays blue ray.
