I don't know, Takara never had the rights to the mold.

On the other had, they might have acquired it and be releasing it for the first time.

OT, but the new Soul of Chogokins look sweet! Baikanfu from Machine Robo is periously close to "I'm buying one", and do my eyes deceive me or are those blueprints for Steel God Jeeg and God Mars SoCs?

 

I'm with you Sol, I thought they never had the mold but if this turns out to be a true reissue all I can say is "YESSSSS"

Skylynx? That's an odd choice for a reissue.

 

Would bee cool, however it seems unlikely since he wasn't even owned by takara/hasbro in the first place. Also, I don't want it reissued to devalue my misb original!

 

I don't care about the value of an original sky lynx, as I got mine before the price went through the roof, probably about what this will end up going for. but I'm all for people being able to get more motorized g1 transformers.

And repaints of the Protoforms....what a waste of plastic. In my humble opinion, of course.

That Sky Lynx box loks old; look at the edges.
Shoe Magnus is awful; another pointless repaint.
The protoforms look terrible.
I love the CMs Dai Atlus; posing it on top of a Sonic Bomber = big LOLs.

Hope this mean they have aquired the rights to omega supreme as well.

 

The box is def vintage Takara sometimes just likes to show off old G1 stuff. They have done it in the past.
