Hey hey,

There is an auction on ebay for what is being called an 'offical' test shot of MP-03 Starscream in G1 anime colours. The images shown, indeed show the same detail (including battle damage) that the other images we have seen so far do, however one of the images also shows that this 'test shot' is also still marked as a Takara product.

Is it a Takara test shot for a G1 acurate Starscream, is it a Hasbro test shot that uses a Takara MP-03 as the base for test purposes or is it a good custom job done to an actual MP-03 Starscream???

Well, yes, it appears that it would be, but the interesting point here is that this one is still marked as being a Takara product and not a Hasbro product

 

Being that it's the same mold as the Takara version, even the US version will have Takara trademark on the figure, it will be interesting to see if they will add a Hasbro trademark...

It was confirmed a while ago.

It's deffinatly hasbro, they're the olny ones who would 1) go crazy with the black spray 2) use red plastic like that, and 3) skip out on painting the missles.

 

Definitely the best tf ever IMO...

 

That is impressive. I hope it is a Hasbro release, just to keep costs down.
Either way, I'll probably have to grab one to put on my shelf here in my office at work - Next to 20th Prime!

Crap, this thing looks a lot better than the MP3 TakaraTomy SS I got for $90! Even the doc looks like he's painted better. Kind of weird that the Hasbro version is painted better than the Japanese version...usually the other way around.

 

Looks like Starscream rolled around in the mud.

 

I like it... and am ready to abuse my wallet whenever you are ready Hasbro.

That black wash looks so excessive. It looks more like a giant car mechanic was handling Screamer for a few hours after getting off work than anything else.

Hrm. MP-06 looks pretty nice though, even if it's overly festooned with caution labels on its wings.

 

I thought it had already been confirmed as a walmart exclusive due out this November?

I like it. Crapy they didn't paint the missles. I still want a Masterpiece screamer though.

 

Yeah... a custom so good that they molded the chest and intake parts in red plastic.
