(we received same assortment as US, i call booset and zoom out wave 1.5)

    meantime:
the straps is a lil fiddly in alt mode, and too bad abt the non working lcd (its due to automorph design, similar to handheld game guy), large bot mode and very poseable. kinda think the colors bland.

    high score:
neat in both modes, especially the brute style bot mode. gorilla bots rule! the switch automates the chest panel/head, which is neat. too bad abt the non articulated hands and the teeny weeny size, but the fellas got charm.

the whole damn line gets an A, at its worst, a B+

Yeah the real gear line is full of win.
I would love to see the two main line of figures after the movie be classics and real gears.

The only one I don't like is the camcorder one, But he is still a really good figure.

Think it'd be possible to mod Meantime into a functioning, transforming watch?

If so, OMFG that'd be win.

I did read your post...probably just misunderstood you or something (it's summer, it's late...).

Tis' a shame, as that'd make him even more win.

there is no way in hell that you could get him to be a fully functional watch because even if the automorph is gutted, even if you fixed the rotating watchface in a single postion, you still would not be able to get a watch in there.

    edit: 500th post! woot

I'll have to see him in person but I don't see why you couldn't replace the entire watch face with a small LCD watch face. You'd have to change the head transformation, but it should be a doable though complicated bash. Considering some of the things I've seen done I've come to the belief that with the right amount of workl almost anything is possible.

Regardless I want both of these guys. The real gear figures are some of my favorites in years. I'm a sucker for basics and object formers though so they hit both points. Now if they just had a combiner I'd be in heaven:)

uh, yes you can? havent you seen one of thow watch dealies with the real thin body? i'm holding the damn thing in my hand right now and the thickness of the torso is more than enough to store an lcd screen, its got at least twice the thickness of a regular digital watch.

if you gut/mod the leg joints.

not sure what youd do with the retracting head tho, which i think is the real problem in modding this guy.

It's a real shame that high score is so small, he looks like one of the best figures in the line.

Just got them today, the little guys are alot of fun. Meantime is cool in both modes, but if he had a working LCD he would be the greatest TF ever. Also I wish his wrist strap were a little bit longer, so I could wear him securely on my wrist, but I guess he should fit ok for a kid. High score is a cool bot, and a break from the traditional robot proportions. The gorilla aesthetic looks cool and the guy looks like a lil' powerhouse. Worthy additions to the real gear family.
