Got me another box tonight and got a lot of duplicates. If anybody is interested we can keep this going for buy or trades. If anybody is interested, start posting your lists of your needs and trades and we'll see where this goes. I will post my list later tonight.
I just tracked down some boxes and have many duplicates. The ones I'm missing from the main set are #'s 6, 14, 24, 40, 54, 84, 88 I'm missing 2 and 3 of the flix-pix, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10 of the foil cards and 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 of the embossed cards. I didn't find any of the really rare stuff. I wouldn' t mind getting my hands on any of the Bumblebee rare pieces. If anyone is looking for any cards I have many. i was debating about looking into these cards. i bought a pack of the constructible card game. do these cards look pretty good? topps usually has ok quality cards.

I know that both of the Targets in my area had several boxes of the movie cards ($9.99 per box). I did not check my local Wal-Mart, but they *usually* have a large selection of cards. Keep in mind those are the retail boxes and they do not include some of the inserts the the hobby boxes have (offered at comic & card shops and the like). It is still an inexpensive way to complete a primary collection if you don't care that much about the extras or you are just missing a few cards.
I grabbed a few retail boxes from Target. I'll probably buy a few hobby boxes on payday. I don't have any extras of the inserts yet, just regulars. Anywho...here's what I got. I purchased 2 boxes and got a full set of the foil cards and the embrossed cards. Also got a sketch card of Optimue Prime and Megatron and 1 uniform card. Out of the two boxes i got 3 complete sets and my dad purchased 5 boxes and got 5 extra complete common sets and a bunch of extra special cards so i'll be selling/trading these in the next few weeks.
Glad there is a thread like this... Bought my 1st $10 box last night. Where can I get bigger boxes? I saw one at the Heroes convention but he wanted $50 for it. A box with 6 packs just doesn't cut it for me...I got about half of the set with no duplicates yet. Got one foil and one embossed. What are the other bonus cards besides the foils? Grand total of cards? 110? 120?
I had to order my larger boxes from the dealer but i got a deal and only payed 46 per box. The embossed and foil cards are the only real sets of special cards. There's also uniform cards that contain pieces of the uniforms worn by the soliders in the movie, plus sketch cards and autograph. Is anyone interested in purchasing a set of common cards. If so let me know
For cards I need, I have all the regular cards, but need the following inserts: Embossed Foil 1, 4 & 8; Foil 3, 5, 6 & 8; Flix Pix 3. For sale or trade, I have plenty of extras of most of the regular cards (1-20, 22-46, 48-90), plus at least 1 each extra of the following inserts: Flix Pix 1 & 4; Embossed Foil 2 & 10; Foil 4 & 6. Hey man i was wondering what the Flix Pix cards are. Do you have any pics? I think i've got some extra cards you need so if you would hold on to those extra flix pix cards for me and maybe we can come up with a deal.
The Flix Pix cards are lenticular-type cards - where you look at the card from one angle, and you see one picture, then turn the card slightly and see a different pic from another angle. I'm sure there's another term for it, but I can't think of it at the moment. There are 5 Flix Pix cards total in the series - they each show a TF in robot and vehicle mode. These cards are fairly thick, and it's not too hard to find in the single packs which packs actually have a Flix Pix card in them - I just take a pair of single packs, hold them up against each other along their edge, and feel if one pack feels a bit thicker than the other. If a pack does feel thicker, chances are it has a Flix Pix card in it. Otherwise, both packs will just have regular cards or the foil and foil embossed inserts. Lemme know if you've got anything I need. I'm pretty much done buying packs and just wanna trade off my extras to get what I need to complete my set.

I have one foil of Ratchet to trade and alot of common duplicates. On a side note, I out all of my cards in the little plastic sheets and have them stored in the new Optimus Prime 3-ring binder that just came out. Looks pretty sweet.
I'll be bringing my duplicates to Botcon to either trade for what I'm missing or in all reality just give away to someone who needs them.
