Yes indeed! 4'000 seats available and spanning four theatres, and best of all, anyone is welcome to attend.

Also, I love the last line of the article :lol

Why? When you can go see it on the 28th of June in KOREA - which is STILL only early morning on the 27th in the USA. ;-)

Like me, you can watch it 6 or so hours ahead of everyone else (cept some of those italian guys at that movie festival).

Hey, Italy's getting it before the rest of us for the international premiere, so there's some consolation. Still think Japan should've been the place, given Takara and they're pretty much king when it comes to big mech action.

    LATimes article quote:
There's also purchasing from the LA Film Fest purchase page or at the box office in Westwood Village come June 21st. However, careful when buying from the registers cuz they're probably gonna go fast and as seating goes on June 27th, well... First come, first serve.

Just to make some TFW2005 folks' lives in the LA/Westwood Village area who are attending a little easier:

    - Landmark's Regent Theatre on 1405 Broxton Ave, after-premiere party held on Broxton
    - the newly located Landmark down on 10850 Pico Blvd, at Westwood Blvd (long ways, green shuttle ride recommend)

And according to the LA Times article:
    - the Mann National Theatre on 10925 Lindbrook Dr, corner of Lindbrook and Gayley
    - the Mann Village on 961 Broxton Ave, corner of Broxton and Weyburn Ave.
    - the Mann Bruin also on 948 Broxton, across the Mann Village (funnily, this one isn't mentioned in my volunteer manual...)

Individual tickets for the TF screening completely sold out so those who haven't bought them will have to purchase passes, according to the LA Film Fest site.

Though I certainly do have question marks popping over my head regarding the number of theaters screening the movie when comparing the LA Times article to what's said at the LA Film Fest's site... :inquisiti

    Ebay:
2 Tickets for SALE "US Premiere @ the L.A. Film Festival"

I have 2 extra Transformers June 27th US Premiere @ the L.A. Film Festival tickets for sale.

My question is, should I post them here and sell them to the highest bidder or should I just put them on eBay?

These tickets are for the National Theatre screening presented in an all-digital picture and also include the block party after the screening.

Can ANYONE confirm that the passes given out at the building unveiling on Vine and Sunset back in May 10th are usable at the premiere in Westwood? Cause, I haven't heard scrap from Paramount and the most recent screening was the one held Friday in Mann's Chinese, which I assume was for press (or lucky saps).
