    No looseness problems with mine.

Can you please explain what you mean by this? This always just seems to me like a random non-specific complaint.

Did the plastic crumble in your hands? Did all the paint rub off on your fingers? Did screws fall out of their sockets? Those are things that would suggest "cheaply made" to me.

You have to put the pegs in the holes, it is really hard to get the pegs in there, to the point that makes you think they don't fit, but trust me they do. Unless you are talking about something else. But I had a huge problem with the waist my first time transforming him.

yeah i had that, but the problem is the rotating joints just above knee!

on the cheapness issue i think its cuz im used to my sons cybertron toys which seemed to be really chunky hardwearing plastic, whereas this is really thin flimsy plastic, especially the hood and doors

    You should. Ironhide is awesome.

His plastic seems no more flimsy than alt plastic. The reason he feels more fragile than a Cyb toy is because of the higher level of complexity... he can't be big chunks of solid plastic because so much of him is hinges and shells. As for loose joints, that's unfortunately a difficulty with any toy figure... there's always a margin of flex in terms of how tight or loose a joint will be due to the manufacturing process. Sometimes a joint will be inexplicably loose. The best you can do is take it back to get a replacement, which will probably be fine. I don't personally have any problems with loose thigh swivels in my Ironhide fig.

WaNts! Found him already, but WM could'nt let him go until the 2nd. Only the deluxes & titaniums. It was cool though, almost splurged, saved alot of money and they'll be everywhere after the 2nd. We'll be tired of digging through them soon looking for wave 2's

Still using that IH wallpaper unicron made

no to put the feet in a position to balance him with the legs bent in a 'moving' position, it moves the plates around to the front due to the automorph thingy!

Aside from the asstastic head that figure looks ok. Maybe Kitbash material is needed....

I must say that this is the one movie design that surpasses G1 in pretty much every way, in my opinion. I never really thought of Ironhide that much before, but now he's just bad ass.

I have to also admit that I was one of the fanboys crying over the non-G1 designs when I first saw 'em. Now, I feel the total opposite. I think they're all great now.
