    I like the use of the faction symbols for pawns. Makes much more sense than using a single character.

    Hmm, perhaps the chest pieces gives an indication of their scale and height against each other in the movie? (Cept that Prime is not as tall as Megatron)

    Those 'robot fighter' things, back when Jurassic Park 3 was released, they did the same thing, but with Spino + Rex instead of Prime + Megs.

    Each figure has a button that if hit will cause the figure to shoot off of the stand, meaning victory for the one still standing.

    Basically, ou twist the thing at the back and the stand the figures are on spins, then the laws of physics make the arms and leg swing wildly in an attempt to beat your oppenent.

    IIRC, that set sucked.

    no, not at all, eg. blackout and starscream are many times taller than barricade in the movie

    WOW starscream looks AMAZING on the chess set, i really hope he looks that good in the movie

    The chess peices look fantastic, though the board looks a little tacky.
