Sounds quite cool - would be even better with TCR-style lane-switching! But hang on half a mo...

*climbs into DeLorean, guns it to 88 and travels back to 1984...delivers praise to Frank Martin for helping to bring TF to the UK, as well as a cuff round the head for not ensuring *all* of them getting a release this side of the pond...then forgets to refill Mr. Fusion. Bugger.*

    kukuku...

This set sound pretty sweet. I like the fact that the TF movie products are expanding into just about anything you can think of.

I'll be getting one, they should only be around £20 to £30 pounds (going by their previous Micro Scalextric sets) and I can always attach it to my Batman Begins one!

Are they compatible with the old Scalectrix sets? If so I'll have to get one and then dig out my old Scalectrix 300 set and Autostart!

Reminds me a lot of the racing set that I saw over here circa 1985/86, with the pop-up transforming cars!

Yeah the Tyco one. We still have ours, though we threw the box away years ago. We bough new cars for it at BotCon Europe as well, so we have two "new" cars and the original. The set we got was second hand, and the car is made up of both Autobot and Decepticon cars

I remember those too... It's been many years since I've had a slot car set. I may have to pick this one up.

The set is a smaller scale than the standard Scalextric sets. The cars will be really quite tiny, only a couple of inches long.

It looks really quite nice. The cars are what I expected, and the price is just about right. If I can get a job, I'll certainly be buying it.

Yeah, Micro Scalextrix is smaller, the cars are Hot Wheels sized and the track is around 2/3 the size of the normal set, so it won't attach to the normal sized sets.

This is a pic I took of a bunch of Batmobiles...

The one second from the bottom is a Micro Scalextric Batmobile, the middle one is normal Scalextric, so there is a big difference.

Not thread related...I know, but that is a really nice photo. Love the detail on the two largest ones. I'm glad I didn't see them when they were out, because then I would have more stuff I don't have room to display.
