    It's been confirmed... Optimus Prime's voice in the new, unfinished (leaked) tv spot wasn't Peter Cullen...

    This has been confirmed by the "nelson", admin of the Official Michael Bay forum shootfortheedit.com

    Remember those people saying it sounds like Cullen and all I just LOL'd big time. Some people cant tell the difference they could have got Michael Jackson to do Prime and say it was Cullen.


    Seriously though that voice used in the trailer could make a good Ironhide. Is it just me or did that sound like Energon Rodimus?

    I thought it didnt sound like Cullen, too dark and gruff.

    Yeah, that WAS Cullen. But I think Nelson misunderstood it; that the European marketing guys were just messing with the voice instead of replacing it (like he says).

    I really cannot see the Cullen in that anywhere, then again, outside of G1 Prime, I havent heard any of his work.

    yeah im pretty sure it's not cullen, it just doesnt sound right to me.

    That is either Cullen on someone that sounds exactly like Cullen. Listen to the blog on the video games page by Cullen and Welker.

    That's weird, because when Tony B. changed the pitch it sounded like the man to me. Perhaps he was trying to say that they were not going with that particularly low pitch in the movie?

    Wow, Cullen's voice in this youtube video clip is GRRREAAT!!!

    Sounds like a mixture between his Ironhide and Prime voice.. LOVE IT!!!

    Hope Movie Prime ends up with this voice (youtube clip mentioned above)....

    I'd like to say that the pitched-up version ought to convince anybody that it IS Cullen in the trailer.

    ...but with the amount of voice processing used on his voice, you could tell me that it's David Kaye's Megatron and I'd believe it.
